Activities

MORPH offers a drop in Centre to young people. This place is provided with a Pool Table, Table Tennis, Football Table etc, and a number of seats where young people and volunteers can build a healthy relationship.

In the Drop In we also have a "Band Space" where young people and their bands can practice, a counselling room used for counselling and advice. When needed there is a space called the "Prayer Room" where young people can explore their own spirituality.

Some of the activities that MORPH has organised or taken part in is detailed below:

Dance, Drama, Graffiti, Cookery Projects

Projects that aim to develop skills and occupy young people with healthy, useful and creative activities.

Sexual Health and Techniques of Job Interview

Projects that aim to work young people's sexuality and emotional/sexual health and also prepare them for Job Interviews and how to fill in an application form.

Cross Community

Currently we are the only constant cross-community, international youth project in the area. We prefer to build relationships with everyone than do projects that look into stereotypes and prejudices. This is because we are aware of a large number of young people who don't carry about with them the prejudices of older generations. We do however address some subtle prejudices in the midst of our relationships. We do occasionally do a cross-boarder/cross community project but never as a a means to access money.

Sport and Mission Trips

A project that aims to fulfil young people's desires to be involved in sports and also develop skills in work and in a cross community context prompting peace and reconciliation.

Trips to activities/residential

Trips that develop social skills and social inclusion.

Band Space

A place for young people to practice with their bands and develop musical skills.

The Drop In is the hub for much of the activity mentioned about to work from.
